A recent move from New Mexico to the East Bay has propelled me to interpret the light, subtle color, and textures that reflect my new sense of place. I am drawn to wild spaces but also to nature on the edges of urban areas. The ever changing elements of water, wind, and flora capture my attention - be it weathered wood, tidal marshlands, coastal shorelines, or redwood groves.
